Traffic Pods Results

If you recall I bought 5000 visitors at Traffic Pods for $21.99 and advertised these websites:
http://www.affiliateadvantages.com/projectpayday.html
The above site didn't cost a thing. It was just free information that a person could sign up for
and which I would be paid $1.50 per lead.
http://www.affiliateadvantages.com/
This was my own website offering free information as well as paid information. The website is geared towards people who are interested in affiliate marketing. Granted it's not that great of a
website so I really didn't expect much from it.
http://www.amclassroom.com/cmd.php?Imp=1947928
This was a site where people paid $1 for a 14 day trial period. I know there is a lot of great information here but maybe people were afraid they would forget to cancel and end up paying
the $29.95 monthly charge which is cheap if you are interested in selling other peoples products.
You could learn a lot on that site.

Anyway here are the result:
For the Project Payday site I recieved 663 impressions and 6 clicks.
For the amclassroom site it shows I recieved 173 impressions and 0 clicks.
For the affiliateadvantages site I can't make heads or tails of how many impressions
this site recieved. I have it hosted through Yahoo and its pretty confusing to determine
the traffic figures. Maybe I just don't understand how to read them.

Now if I understood Traffic Pods right I should have recieved 5000 visitors but I don't see
where I recieved anywhere near that much but I will give them the benefit of the doubt. I know they are a respected traffic exchange. Bottom line I think they are a poor way to advertise. And they are suppose to one of the better exchanges. So I think traffic exchanges suck and if you waste your time or money on them you have my sympathy.

Suprisingly it shows in my amclassroom back office that I have accumulated $89.91 in commissions from my past efforts in advertising this offer. They say I need $100 to be paid in to my PayPal account. Looking more in depth in my back office I see where this link:
http://www.amclassroom.com/cmd.php?af=526693
resulted in 174 impressions and 167 clicks for my $89.91 in commissions.
Here is the link I advertised on Traffic Pods:
http://www.amclassroom.com/cmd.php?Imp=1947928
which resulted in no sales.
I think the link I advertised in Traffic Pods is a lot better but what do I know.

I haven't just spent money on the Internet. Here are some programs with which I have made money. Associated Content has paid me $92.32 for writing a total of 19 articles. I can write on any subject I want to. My highest paying article has paid me $6.23 and my lowest paying one has been $3.00 which I believe is their minimum. They have always paid me very quickly into my PayPal account. They also have this thing where they will pay you $1.50 for every 1,000 page views your articles get. I have noticed a lot of people are getting thousands of page views for their articles mainly through self promotion all though Associated Content does a pretty good job of promoting your articles for you. I have a total of 596 page views for all my articles which amounts to about .78cents. You have to reach 10,000 page views which would equal $15 before you can get paid but if you do not reach it in one month it rolls over into the next. They use to pay $3 for every referral that you sent them but they discontinued that. I did not have much luck getting referrals which I think kind of proves my point that most people are on the Internet just to make a quick buck with out any work involved. If a person would just write two articles a day at a average of $5 a article that would equal $3,650 a year plus whatever you would get from page views which could be substantial. My biggest problem is thinking about what to write.

Traffic Tester Results

Here are the results for my Traffic Testers campaign that I ran through WebBizInsider. I sent out a email to 3605 members and offered them 8 credits to click on the link which would take them to the Traffic Testers website. I recieved 309 unique visitors and no sign ups. I guess it is hard to convince people tp spend $25 on a site that tests different advertsing sources. I think Traffic Testers is a good program but I have only used it for about a week so I may change my opinion of them later on. My campaign on Traffic Pods is still running but unless there is a big push at the end the campaign will be a total dud. I imagine before a person runs a campaign on the traffic exchanges they should find out what that group of people are looking for. In looking at some of the sights on them when I had my brief surfing experience they look like the type that wants something free that requires little or no work. And in reality they really don't want anything. The want to sell you something of their own not buy something from you. When I think of the tens of thousands of hours people spend surfing each week it just boggles my mind. What a way to waste ones life.

Regarding my email I sent out the other day through WebBizInsider promoting the Traffic Tester offer so far I have recieved 222 unique visitors but no sales. I guess it's hard to convince someone to to spend $25 on a monthly basis. Though I think it is a good service only time will tell.

My original thought with Traffic Testers was to find if there were any free resources that they had tested that worked out well for them. They listed a number of traffic exchanges they had recieved sales from so I thought I would go that route. I started with about 5 of them and surfed for about an hour and thought enough of this. Guess I am just not patient enough. The thought of sitting there clicking through sites was to much for me so I pulled out the old credit card and purchased 5,ooo vistors at Traffic Pod for $21.99. Here are the three sites I am promoting at 300 visitors a day for each site:

I will update the results of this campaign as they become available.
I would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions on the affiliateadvantages site. It is my own personal site and I know some of you have ways it could be improved so any thoughts on it would be appreciated.

Keeping a running total, here is what I have spent so far in trying to make money online. $25 for traffic testers, $21.99 for the traffic pod visitors and $12.90 for my website. That totals $59.89 if my addition is correct. Starting to dig myself quite a hole ain't I:)

I just finished sending a email through WebBizInsider to 3613 subscribers. I am allowed to do this once a week. I offered them 8 credits to click on the link. I had signed up for the TrafficTester affiliate program. I get $12.50 for every sign up I get and I believe it is recurring for every month they stay as a member so if I can just get two sign ups my monthly subcription is free. Here was the email I sent out.

Now as I look at what I have named this blog it seems kind of corny. Maybe thats why I have never been the success at Internet Marketing that i would have hoped. I'm not very imagative and can't think of new things which I think might be a big part to being a success online. Whether or not anybody reads this it will benefit me because it will be my own personal diary or record of what I have done to make some money online. My goal has always been to make $100 a day. I guess that was just an easy number to come up with so I went with it. $1000 is an easy number to so maybe I should go with that. Just kidding. Okay today I plopped down $25 for Traffic Testers. Its a monthly charge Yikes! Its suppose to give you the best places to advertise on the Internet. I'll have a look around and see what it says. As always if anybody happens to stumbe upon this blog feel free to leave a comment.

Thanks for stopping by to visit. I would like to hear what you have to say. I really would. Okay I will start. In thinking about the times when I have been the most successful I have come to realize that it has been when I was part of a team. Everybody striving for the same goal but with each individual bringing their own unique talents to the table. No leaders, just people working together for a common purpose Win or lose these are the times when I have felt the most alive. Some of my fondest memories and most treasured friendships have been formed during these times. How about you?
